Frequently asked questions
Hockey Gaze Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers about how Hockey Gaze works, who it is for, and what its results mean.
Short answer
Hockey Gaze provides short hockey vision-training sessions for goalies, forwards, and defense. A sample drill requires no account or credit card, while a free early-access account saves personalized progress.
Do I need an account or credit card?
No account is needed for the 45-second sample. Early-access accounts currently request no payment details.
What device should I use?
Desktop works for practice. A tablet used in a ready stance can support a more sport-like setup. Scores are separated by device because screen and input differences affect results.
Is Hockey Gaze only for goalies?
No. Position-aware plans support goaltenders, forwards, and defense with different drill pools and coaching language.
How often should I train?
Short, high-quality sessions two to four times per week are a practical starting point. Stop before accuracy collapses and integrate the cue into on-ice practice.
Is it safe for youth athletes?
Youth profiles receive conservative defaults, guardian consent is required for team sharing, and flashing content remains off for under-13 athletes.
Does it improve game statistics?
Hockey Gaze trains repeatable visual and decision tasks. It does not promise save percentage, scoring, roster, or medical outcomes.
Is Hockey Gaze a medical vision test?
No. It does not diagnose or treat vision disorders, concussion, or other medical conditions. Seek qualified care for symptoms or clinical questions.
